HISTORY:
We are a family owned business situated in the centre of Trowbridge, Wiltshire's county town.
Established in 1879 by Mr Henry John Knee, we have been involved in many aspects of local business from refitting boats in the Bristol docks to rebuilding piers (including the Brighton pier and Penarth pier), but for well over a hundred years the backbone of our success has been our thriving retail business which runs from our two department stores in Trowbridge and Malmesbury.
RETAIL:
We aim to give a high quality of service to our customers by maintaining the traditional values of a family run firm whilst providing a huge range of diverse items which are both useful and attractive to help enhance or aid the lives of our customers and ensure complete satisfaction.
The Internet provides us with the opportunity to offer our services to a wide range of customers at home and abroad, to echo a local saying "If you can't get it anywhere else, try Knees they're bound to have it!".
